Well, here's my first ever attempt to keep a blog. There's several reasons I want to do this, but the most important would be that I wanted to actually make use of this new website, and force myself to keep making photographs at the same time. A photo-blog just seemed like the natural answer (: So, here goes nothing..

As some of you may know, I've moved to Munich for an exchange semester here. It's been a great time so far, and I've kind of begun to settle down and start doing work: process photos and homework (eww), mainly. I've been here for about 3-ish weeks now, but the first place I visited in Germany (other than Munich to dump my luggage) was Berlin! It was a great trip and I really enjoyed the rich history in that city. Every turn gives you insight into something or another that happened during very different times, as well as how people have coped and moved on from there. I just noticed the Brandenburg Gate on the 20c Euro coin, and I had no choice but to photograph it (it's raining today, and i'm feeling trigger happy). It was minted in 2013, and the 'D' means it was minted right here in Munich! Coins here can get irritating, you collect them real fast, especially with that €2 coin.

Anyhow, I'm going to keep this post real short and stop here, but I promise to be back with more photographs, particularly those from Berlin, and Salzburg (which I visited just last week)!
